...dogs! When I was a teenager I'd carry an English hunting whip, and it sure as heck wasn't for use on the horse.

At the same time, it's a good idea to desensitize your horse to canines, including strange ones, as much as possible.

Equipment Malfunctions...

I'm assuming something broke rather than him just forgetting to tighten it... What a good sport, though...because that's really embarrassing to have happen in public.

Harness Racing...

...is a very dangerous sport. Especially for the drivers.
