I'm a Dressage Horse Now!

...nope, I think I want to be a racehorse again.

Apparently this was his first show. He was fine, but I think the wind made some sound that set him off. Well ridden.

Oh dear...

...apparently this dressage horse just couldn't get focused today.

The rider handles it really nicely, but...yeah. That's one upset, spooky horse. Something on the other side of that fence is a horse eating monster.

Oh dear...

Not the best team chase round ever. (note the best three riders count).

Oh dear...

That horse did not like having his rider wrapped around his neck.

Hrm...

...my ears are so not sure about this.

That would be even harder to get a horse to do.

Haha.

Don't watch this one without the volume.

Poor rider, but the commentary is hilarious.

Saddlebreds are rather known for being handfuls, but that one may have had one oat too many this morning!

Man...

...this horse looks really hard to handle.

He gets stronger and stronger...

Then in the second round he decides it's just not safe to jump from that spot/angle. Ow. NICE velcro seat.

Uh...

...I've retrained a barrel horse and she didn't want to jump things supported on barrels. But this horse forgot he wasn't supposed to jump it. I'm guessing he was trained to jump at some point!

Oh dear...

...this cross country lesson is not going well.

I'm guessing this horse's buddies are off that top right corner somewhere, because that's sure the only way he actually wants to go.

Sit on your...

...honestly, I'm posting this for the instructor's, uh, phrasing as much as anything else.

Nope!

No, I won't go through that gate!

This is pretty bad, dangerous gate sourness. Horse could probably use more cross training. He ran fine, but he really didn't want to...
