Looks like a somewhat impromptu match race. Both riders are beating their horses, the one on the left (of the camera) is actually worse, but it's the one on the right who uses his whip so many times the horse veers left into the crowd and tramples spectators. This is, of course, why proper tracks have rails, not just...if there's anything between the posts I can't see it and neither could the horse!

Greyhounds are pretty fast. So are Thoroughbreds. How about we have some fun and find out which of them is actually fastest?

The greyhound won, but I think it was more its acceleration than its speed.

Loose Horse!

Horse gets out of stall with saddle around its groin. Needless to say, it bolts...into the spectator area. The commentator does an amazing job of staying calm.

Both jockey and horse were fine. I'm not even entirely sure why he fell - did a stirrup leather break?
