This guy can't ride, and that was clearly known from the fact that the horse's handler (probably, she rents horses out for just this purpose) was leading it in a halter, but the horse freaked out - perhaps something to do with how he landed in the saddle?
...for the guy who jumps on a burro (not a wild donkey as the video says, these belong to somebody and are just being run on the range). Of course, he picks the jack!
Some of what this guy is doing is fine. Some of it is pushing a weanling too hard, and the neck tether with a rope like that is pretty dangerous if the foal panics. And...he's going to injure the horse with pulling its legs sideways like that.
(If you're looking at the foal's ears - it's a Marwari horse, they come that way).
Even scarier than my riding incident yesterday - I got taken off with. By a draft cross who was kind of mad with me for making her do her job. That's worse, though. Apparently the jockey was not seriously harmed.
