...on the other hand...

Yesterday's video was somebody deliberately doing stuff without a bridle.

...this one, though. Beautifully done!

Why...

...are we galloping on the road with no helmet? Form's not great either...

Some kids...

...are just naturally good riders. Okay, at the start the horse isn't tracking up, but how much is the horse and how much is the kid is hard to tell.

Then at 2:20

I know plenty of adults who would have been off! Sure, she pulled the reins a little, but that was spooktacular. Apparently it was the fault of the barn pitbull, who decided to emerge from the lake abruptly and shake itself.

Posting this...

...because there was no official video of the Shetland Grand Fiasco that took place that night. Poor kids!

Also, because it's a nicely done video.

This is cool.

You don't often get this view of a galloping horse.

The poor drone is struggling to keep up, mind!

Things mules are good for...

...does it include dressage?

These guys from Bishop, CA, think so. Look at those ears!

I have...

...no idea how this situation came about.

The biker may have made the situation worse, although he did catch one of them. Not sure.

Check out...

...this gathering of mules. Look at them all. Wait.

...does that little mule have stripes?

Hrm, let's check this out some more.

...yeah. Those are horse ears.

...that ain't no mule!

It's a freaking zorse!

(A nice, well-behaved one, mind).

Oh dear...

...I don't know how this entire herd ended up on the road, but they're definitely going somewhere...

So, why...

...is this pony bucking.

Could it be the heavy rider? The lack of aa saddle pad? Or maybe she's just being barn sour...

(She's not actually too heavy for the pony if she's being honest about its weight, but she's awkwardly tall...I think the lack of saddle pad is the real issue here).

Dashing Through The Snow...

...in a one PONY open sleigh.

(Yes, it's just an ordinary toboggan, but the mini seems happy enough!)

Friday, December 1, 2017

Aw...

...this Assateague pony got themselves very stuck indeed and needed a bit of help to get out.
